Your IVF Journey & Pregnancy
1. 🥚 Ovarian Stimulation & Egg Retrieval
Fertility medications are given to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs.
Once the eggs are mature, they are collected through a short, minor procedure.
2. 🧬 Fertilization & Embryo Transfer
The collected eggs are fertilized with sperm in the lab.
A healthy embryo is selected and gently transferred into the uterus.
3. 💊 Supportive Medication & Pregnancy Test
For 14 days from the date of embryo transfer, supportive hormonal medications are given to help implantation.
After 14 days, a Beta hCG blood test is done to check for pregnancy.
If the result is positive, the woman enters the first trimester of pregnancy.
